After years of scheduling conflicts, photographer Jason Lee and model Madison finally managed to collaborate. They chose two very different locations, one with a stark backdrop of volcanic rocks and another featuring an abandoned farmhouse. With each venue, Jason used natural light to capture shots that highlighted Madison’s classic Hollywood aura reminiscent of the 1930s.

It took a few years and a few tries before Madison and I were able to find a date that would work for both of our busy schedules, but one day the calendars aligned! We shot in a dry riverbed full of volcanic rocks and an abandoned farmhouse and got some nice contrasty shots.
