What can I say? Willow and Waterfalls! She is a deep and true spirit. I could talk to her for hours on end and never get bored. One of the most fun things about doing a location shoot is the drive out there!

Katerina is a fascinating lady. She was featured in a well known magazine that provided her a multi-year contract, but she shared that of all the photos made of her, the ones we made together were her favorites. Her skills as an acrobatic performer clearly come through in these captured treasures.

Courtney was so amazing, climbing in and out of spaces (including an exposed natural cavern, a linen closet and going outside in the freezing cold weather!) It was an awe-inspiring adventure, finding beauty in odd places. She fit right into the mystique of the era, as we thought of detective noir novels, speakeasys and robber barons.

I’m always on the lookout for a great location. This pile of giant boulders was hiding in plain sight and a few weeks later, these beautiful rocks were gone, turned into landscape features. Here today, gone tomorrow, so shoot it today!

Jason was super down to earth, and easy to talk with. I feel like we chatted for about 30 minutes before we even found a place to shoot. He is a family man and has a true passion for photography. (He is also from Louisiana, and those of you who know me, know that this is a plus. Who Dat?)  His photography is beautiful fine art. We collaborated on an idea; one dress and a few spots in the park later…he captured rad images!

Here’s one from the way back machine and was a funny story! There was another model who lived five hours away and she had decided to drive in to shoot with me. She reached out independently to Angelle, who was local, to see if she wanted to come with us and shoot together, and then told me about the plan. I assumed that the two ladies knew each other, but it turns out, they met for the first time that day on our shoot! We bonded immediately and were old friends by the time we walked back to the car. There’s something beautiful about choosing vulnerability and embracing the goodness of the nude body that turns acquaintances into instant friendships.
